Series Name: This is the basic name given to each KitchenAid stand mixer series.

Model Numbers: To simplify the amount of information on this page, we have not included model numbers, as they are dependent on the colour and sometimes features that vary within a product line. For instance, the model number for a KitchenAid Professional 500 Series stand mixer in Empire Red would be KSM500PSER, while the same model in Silver Metallic would be KSM500PSSM.

Bowl Lift: The majority of the stand mixer remains stationary while a lever moves the bowl up into and down out of the proper mixing position.

Tilt Head: Unlike a Bowl Lift style mixer, the top part of the mixer that contains the actual mixer moves up, bringing your beaters out of the bowl.
